The Country Express will play for virtually any type of get together you may be planning, big or small, and we are proud of our reputation as the best country band to dance to in New York's southern tier.  We will even throw in some square dances if you want!

The Country Express had a busy schedule last year playing in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.  Therefore we request that you contact us as soon as possible to schedule your event for 2023.  We hope you have a great year, so check back every so often for schedule updates!

On October 30, 2022, three members of Country Express were honored by the NYS Country Music Hall of Honor & Hall of Fame.

Things have changed a bit for Country Express. As 2021 came to a close, Country Express sent best wishes to Larry Jamieson as he officially began his retirement from playing music with Country Express. Well over twenty years ago, Country Express was just a dream in the minds of two men, Rob Laing and Larry.

Country Express will perform songs from some of the greatest artists in country music history including Patsy Cline, Merle Haggard, Loretta Lynn, and Johnny Cash at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at Town Hall Theatre in Bainbridge. The group also performs from newer country artists such as Martina McBride and Shania Twain as well as a number of ‘50s and ‘60s rock ‘n’ roll.

The third annual Headwaters History Days will open and close with concerts of original and traditional music at the Halcott Grange Hall on Friday, and at the Andes D&N Depot on Sunday. Shows are free; for a map, schedule and description of all weekend activities, visit www.headwatershistorydays.org.

A three-day event celebrating the history of the area along state Route 28 from Olive to Andes will kick off Friday.  Headwaters History Days 2016 will feature programs, exhibits, concerts, open houses, tours and workshops along the newly designated Catskill Mountains Scenic Byway, also known as state Route 28.

ONEONTA _ A Delaware County country band celebrated its 500th show Sunday by playing for a packed house at the Oneonta Elks Lodge. Country Express has been playing classic country, mixed with modern country and a little rock for 14 years. The 500-show milestone happened at the Tri-County Singles Club dance Sunday night.
